SpringSource Enterprise Ready Server (ERS) 3.0 is a new version of most widely distributed Web
infrastructure framework in Fortune 500 enterprises. ERS 3.0 includes the Apache HTTP
Web server and the Apache Tomcat Application server, among the most popular Open Source
components in the world today. ERS 3.0 merges Enterprise Ready Server with SpringSource’s Fast
Start Server offering, bringing together the Apache 2.0 and 1.3 Web servers into a
single package for the first time.
In addition, ERS 3.0 includes two releases of
Apache Tomcat. Customers can deploy Tomcat 4.1 or the current Tomcat 5.0
